Thanks for mentioning this. We'll have a look. If it works, it's
probably a more robust way of adjusting the find-links settings.
It's easy to get confused by the fact that Plone Universal Installer
does not necessarily use a system installed Python version for
running Plone, but instead compiles an embedded version which uses
UCS2 (since that's the Python default Unicode build setting).
