With the lifetime of Python 2 coming closer to an end, I wondered what the status of porting the software to Python 3 is. I found some emails in this list from ~2015 saying that it a port planned, but difficult and probably a large effort - and not much else afterwards. Is this port still in the pipeline? Thanks a lot, Christian. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I did run a sprint on to get started on this last year, but we didn't get very far and the sprint showed how much work even porting just one of the extensions is. Since we're still using mostly Python 2 in production and client projects (clients still mostly have large Python 2 code bases), the port to Python 3 is rather low priority. Without funding in some form to cover the development costs, it's likely going to stay like that for some time. As much as I'd love to work on a port, I don't have the resources to work on it.
